Oxford Hockey Club

Great Milton is one of the two mixed teams that is part of Oxford Hockey Club! Only myth and urban legends can explain why we play in orange rather than blue, but we embrace the 'Oculus Tigris' motto on our badge to the max!

The main philosophy of Milton Mixed is that any ability or experience level is welcome, and we have players of all backgrounds, ranging from complete beginners all the way through to seasoned veterans, that join up to play on Sundays! Although we are partnered with Oxford Mixed, we play enough times to get to know each other pretty well, so the likelihood of playing for both teams in the season is very high (the more the merrier right!) which means we're a very social bunch, so you're likely to find us all in Brookes Bar having a laugh and catch up after the games. Mixed hockey is a friendly based environment, so there's no need to worry about league tables or the pressure of getting a result. As long as you want to have a good time and play some hockey in a welcoming, safe and judgement free environment, mixed is the place for you!
